I have searched the web high and low for great geneology software, and finally found two programs that are excellent. One is called GRAMPS and the other is a web-based program called phpGedView.

GRAMPS is a great stand-alone program for Windows, Linux, and Mac. I have not tested on Mac, have had serious problems on windows, and love it on Linux. It has all the cool features I would ever need and then some. My favorite feature is the ability to output a picture of the family tree in many different formats.

phpGedView has all the features in GRAMPS and more. I really like it because it is web-based and allows any person in my family to edit it. If you would like to check out the Tyler clan, go to http://rbe.homeip.net/gedview
